After grabbing a powerful victory in Florida, the Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is on his way to move forward to Nevada for continuing battle with his Republican rivals this weekend. Mr. Romney is scheduled to appear to an evening rally in Las Vegas - Nevada voters caucus on Saturday.
In Las Vegas, Mr. Romney will face Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Texas Representative Ron Paul waiting for him — Mitt Romney and Ron Paul were the top two winners in Nevada in the party's 2008 presidential primary. Nevada caucus will likely to give an advantage to candidates with strong organizations, also known as Messrs - Romney and Paul. Don’t forget the state has a large population of voters who share Mr. Romney's Mormon faith too.
Romney and his allies supposedly poured roughly $16 million into Florida advertising blast. Restore Our Future, the "super" political committee supporting the former Massachusetts Gov, began pushing Florida ads from December. The candidate and the super PAC also began a rather aggressive campaign to early voters.
Eyeing anxiously is Mr. Obama, whose advisers on Wednesday morning said that the bitter Republican primary was slowly making Mr. Romney a weaker candidate. Stephanie Cutter, Mr. Obama’s campaign manager, said to reporters that Mr. Romney’s “will continue to repel the very voters who will decide the White House.”
