The latest video for the new augmented reality headpiece, the Google Glass, has earned over 4 million YouTube hits in the last day. The video has kept the internet buzzing with celebrity tweets and potential uses for the revolutionary new product.

By connecting to the Internet through the user’s cell phone Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, Google Glass will allow people to connect in any entirely new and more convenient way. Users can command Glass by speaking, touching the frame, or moving their hands to perform a slew of operations. Glass will be equipped with a small screen above the right eye to view friends and web pages, as well as a camera to share pictures and videos from the user’s point of view.

The design of the Glass is relatively simple and futuristic. But there are new reports from the New York Times that detail a deal between Google and high-tech glasses upstart Warby Parker. In an effort to “design more stylish frames” and allow for users with less than perfect eyesight, the two companies will be teaming up to match Glass’ practicality will today’s latest fashion.

Google is yet to announce when the device will be available to the public, but is offering a limited release. Determined fans of the product have been instructed to take to social media to proclaim their own unique use for the product, followed by the hashtag #ifihadaglass. The lucky winners will be able to pick up the Glass in New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco for $1,500.
