Miramonte Elementary School in South Los Angeles Monday will be closed for next two days where two teachers are alleged of lewd acts with students in the classroom, officials said.

Los Angeles School District Superintendent John Deasy will have the meeting with Miramonte parents at 6 p.m. today at a high school near the elementary.

Last week teacher Mark Berndt, 61, who worked at the school for more than 3 decades, was charged with abusing 23 children, ages 6 to 10, between 2005 and 2010.

The acts described by officials include blindfolding children and fed them his own semen in his classroom in what children were reportedly told was just a “tasting game” The investigation began after Berndt tried to develop photos, and a film processor brought them over to police.Berndt remains jailed on $23 million bail and could face life in prison if convicted.

After 4 days, another teacher who worked at the same school, Martin Springer, 49, was arrested on allegation of lewd conduct includes fondling two 7 year old girls in his classroom. He remains in custody with $2 million bail.

Parents of several alleged victims are already taking legal action. Some of the victims told the press that they told a school about the alleged sexual misconduct, but they weren't even taken seriously and were told, "It's not very good to make stories up." and the parents have had to hire their own psychologists for the children.
